Our client in the agricultural manufacturing sector is seeking an experienced and proactive Warehouse Chargehand to oversee and coordinate warehouse operations within a fast-paced distribution environment.

Minimum Requirements
- National Senior Certificate or equivalent to NQF Level 4.
- Proven supervisory experience is essential.
- Minimum 5 years’ extensive operational experience within a warehouse or distribution facility.
- Valid South African driver’s license.
- Own reliable transport.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate warehouse staff to ensure the timely receipt, storage and dispatch of maize and finished products.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure proper stock rotation according to FIFO principles.
- Ensure all goods are correctly labelled and stored.
- Implement and maintain high housekeeping and safety standards.
- Assist with the loading and offloading of materials and finished goods.
- Conduct regular stock counts and report any discrepancies.
- Liaise with production and logistics teams to ensure seamless operations.
- Train new warehouse employees on procedures and safety protocols.
- Ensure warehouse targets are consistently achieved.
