Hello Hired is recruiting an experienced Production Manager – Milling for a client operating within the commercial milling industry.
This is an exciting opportunity for a hands-on leader to oversee production operations, optimise efficiency and maintain high-quality product standards. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing daily operations, leading production teams and driving continuous improvement within a well-established milling facility.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee all production operations.
- Ensure optimal production output, efficiency and product quality.
- Lead, mentor and manage production staff.
- Implement best milling practices and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Monitor production budgets, operational costs and resource utilisation.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety and environmental standards.
- Oversee day-to-day production activities to support operational performance and efficiency.
Minimum Requirements
- Relevant tertiary qualification in Agriculture.
- Previous experience in a similar production management role.
- Strong leadership and people management skills.
- Knowledge of milling production and operations.
- Good understanding of financial and operational management.
